We are looking for an associate lawyer (trainee or several years of bar experience) for our business law practice.

Your profile?

• You obtained a Master’s degree in Law from a Belgian university. If you also obtained an additional Master’s degree (in Belgium or abroad), that is certainly a plus.

• You write fluently and speak eloquently in Dutch. You ideally have a thorough knowledge of English. If you also have a good knowledge of French, that is an absolute added value.

• You are passionate about law. Naturally, we don’t assume that as a starting lawyer you will know all the ins and outs of all branches of law and proceedings, but if you are keen to thoroughly immerse yourself in the cases you work on, you will quickly learn the tools of the trade.

• You work with precision. A lawyer is expected to have accurate written records and to adhere to court-imposed calendars or deadlines. You are willing to play your part in this.

• You dare to think outside the box and propose creative solutions. We never want to dogmatically hold on to internal processes or perspectives. If you have a different view on things, we would like to hear what you think.

• You have a strong interest in healthcare. The healthcare sector faces many challenges, and as a firm we are happy to play our part in meeting these challenges.

• You dare to enter unknown territory. Health law is very multifaceted and as a firm, our work in this sector includes cases in hospital law, patient rights, privacy rights, legislation on pharmaceuticals and medical devices, specific legislation for healthcare professions, etc. Perhaps you are not (yet) familiar with all these different domains, but if you are interested in becoming proficient in these areas, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases.
